Special Needs Teaching Assistant

30 hours per week

We are looking to appoint a Special Needs Teaching Assistant starting September 2014 to work with children with a Statement of Special Educational Needs/Educational and Health Care Plan for Autism in our Communication and Interaction Resource Base. The position requires you to work across Key Stages 1 & 2 in the Base and also to support a child, on a 1:1 basis, to access lessons in mainstream school. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated with clear expectations and relevant experience of the position available. You will need to be committed to the continuing development of the whole school and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The position is a permanent one for 30 hours per week, term time only.
