Job overview
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated literacy teacher to join our successful inner-city school where an ongoing focus on literacy is required.
The school's Literacy Specialist will make a significant difference to the students at the school.
The students have been taught using Direct Instruction and Precision Teaching principles and have made exceptionally rapid and impressive gains in their reading ages.
The Literacy Specialist will work with two experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants in the Literacy Centre.
Although we welcome applications from all interested teachers, both primary and secondary trained, those with experience of Direct Instruction and Precision Teaching, and diagnostic and comprehension programmes will be at an advantage.
