We are looking for a qualified teacher of the visually impaired (QTVI) to join our countywide, multi-disciplinary team of Specialist Teacher Advisers.

As a Specialist Teacher Adviser, you will join the Visual Impairment (VI) team which consists of Qualified Teachers of VI and Paediatric Rehabilitation Officers. The team works with children, their families, early years settings, schools (mainstream and special) and colleges. The team provides advice and support to promote the inclusion, empowerment, progress and raising of achievement of children and young people with visual impairment.

In addition to QTVI training and experience, candidates will be expected to have successful classroom teaching experience as well as knowledge of the wider field of special educational needs. You'll be committed to inclusion and making a difference to pupil outcomes.
