Countywide, currently based in Welwyn Garden City

Integrated Services for Learning is part of Hertfordshire's Children's Services. It is a multi-disciplinary service comprising educational psychologists, specialist teachers and specialist support staff, statutory SEN services and Educational Support Centers.

You will join a highly successful countywide peripatetic service for children and young people with disabilities and be able to demonstrate the ability to work across all phases of education and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will support families of preschool children and support the inclusion of Visually Impaired children in mainstream schools.

We welcome applications from enthusiastic class teachers or SENCOs as well as teachers currently employed in advisory services. Experience of teaching Visually Impaired children is desirable but not essential. If you do not hold an additional specialist qualification, you will be required to achieve this within three years.
