Hours: 27.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year annum
We are seeking to appoint a specialist Teaching Assistant with British Sign Language (BSL) level 2 to support a child with hearing impairment who is currently in KS1. This post is temporary as it is linked to SEN funding for the child in school.
Ideally you will need to have an awareness of the Early Years Foundation & KS1 new National Curriculum and be able to support the child in a variety of different learning activities and situations.
Applicants must have BSL level 2, cued speech is essential and experience of working with deaf children together with links to the deaf community is desirable.
