The role:
You will be responsible for providing academic leadership for the first year of the course, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained in learning, teaching and subject knowledge.

You will be expected, through your professional networks, to ensure the continuous development of the subject area, reflecting critically on the broader context of practice and educational provision internationally. In addition, you will contribute to the delivery of the course through your provision of inspiring and supportive learning opportunities as well as your effective management of resources; providing a stimulating and nurturing environment for students and colleagues alike.

Your profile:
A highly skilled and enthusiastic individual, who is committed to opportunities to share and exchange knowledge within a dynamic and creative environment and community of learning, practice and research.

You should have an established architecture or related practice at a high level, appropriate to the context of the course; preferably holding a post graduate degree. Creative and highly motivated, you will have detailed knowledge and a deep understanding of design processes and practices of architecture and design, with a strong awareness of the skills and knowledge required to meet the RIBA/ARB professional criteria.

You should have educational experience to support undergraduate students in reaching their full potential, whilst also having the ability to lead and to work as part of a team, sharing your knowledge with colleagues and students alike.
