We have worked with Local Authorities in England and Wales since 2004 and over 80% of primary and secondary schools use FFT to analyse pupil progress and results to support school improvement and help measure their performance.
The opportunity
We're looking for an experienced educational data specialist to join the increasingly busy FFT Support Team. This is an exciting time to join FFT as we launch our new Aspire system. Members of the Support Team provide system support and data advice to FFT's key users including schools, Local Authorities and Academy Sponsors and Chains. This role will be based in FFT's main offices in Cowbridge, South Wales.
The role
Reporting to the Support Manager, you will work with the Support Team Leader to ensure that the support and advice that we provide to schools and local authorities is both timely and meets our high quality standards.
The main responsibilities for this post are to:
- Deliver high quality email and phone support responses
- Provide data advice to FFT customers
- Work effectively with the FFT Support Team Leader and team members on a daily basis
- Work with the FFT Support Manager to ensure that work meets team objectives and is aligned with overall company objectives
- Support the ongoing development of FFT Aspire
- Produce resources related to Aspire and educational data as part of the range of FFT support materials
Skills, knowledge and experience Essential:
- Significant experience of working with educational data at Local Authority and/or school level
- Experience of working with groups of educational staff to support and develop their use of data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good prioritising, planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience of delivering presentations and/or training to larger groups
The successful applicant will be subject to a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check (this will be undertaken and paid for by FFT).
