Meadowgate is an 'Outstanding School' for pupils aged 2 - 19 years. We are an area special school for pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties and Moderate Learning Difficulties. In addition we have a number of pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorders.

The school is an exciting, lively and forward thinking establishment. We encompass new ideas and provide regular opportunities to work with notable visiting professionals and access further training in areas of special needs.

The vacancy will be based initially in the secondary department, but the successful candidate may be asked to work across all ages. We wish to appoint a teacher who is enthusiastic and keen to develop their skills within this specialist area. Experience of special needs would be an advantage.

Meadowgate is committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children. The successful candidate will be subject to a DBS check and satisfactory references, which will be requested prior to interview.
