The successful candidate will:

• have experience of teaching Foundation Phase children
• be an excellent classroom practitioner who delivers and demands high quality teaching and learning
• maintain and develop the existing high standards of attainment and achievement for all pupils
• be able to encourage and develop every child as an individual
• have knowledge and experience of teaching the Read, Write Inc literacy programme.
• have knowledge and skills in ICT and the application of ICT across the curriculum

Short listed candidates will be required to prepare and teach a lesson prior to the interview.
