The position is a permanent full-time post

We are looking for a qualified teacher to work as part of our dedicated Additional Learning Support team, who will be responsible for monitoring support for students with Asperger's syndrome, autism and speech and language difficulties.

Duties will involve teaching in small groups and 1:1 to students with a wide range of learning difficulties on all levels of courses up to and including pre degree courses.

South Downs College is a mixed, non-denominational further education college in Hampshire serving students from the age of 16 and above. The college, located in Waterlooville has approximately 4,500 full time students attending every year.

South Downs College was established in 1974. It has plans to merge with Havant Sixth Form Centre to form a partnership in summer 2017. Facilities include a fitness centre, theatre, training restaurant, hair and beauty training salon and sensory room.
