We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive teacher in Maths to teach and assess learners on and off site. You will have the ability to work with young people, adults and work based learners from a range of backgrounds who may have experienced barriers to learning. The successful candidate will have the ability to create effective and stimulating opportunities for all learners through high quality teaching, learning and assessment. You will also be able to demonstrate differentiation in all lessons and possess the ability to stretch and challenge the most able students.
You should have good interpersonal and organisational skills and the flexibility and willingness to work as a team member. You should also have a knowledge and understanding of current and likely developments in education and training.
Experience of teaching on a range of courses, including GCSE Maths and Functional skills is essential.
Initially this post is temporary until July 2015.
