We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and innovative graduate Teachers of Art and Design due to the expansion of our highly successful courses. We require passionate, creative and imaginative teachers to deliver across courses from KS3 to KS5 in graphics, textiles and general art and design. Specific expertise in delivering KS5 photography is desired and colleagues who are willing to work flexibly across all disciplines within the art and design curriculum.

Our current creative art team consists of six highly motivated and conscientious teachers. Teachers of all ranges of experience are encouraged to apply, including newly qualified teachers.

Candidates must be:

  • An outstanding UK qualified teacher who is able to inspire students and has a specialist (Hons) Degree in an arts subject
  • A team player who is able to work collaboratively with others
  • Committed to outstanding standards in all areas and willing to lead by example
  • Passionate about their specialism and willing to share skills and expertise

Campion School in Bugbrooke, Near Northampton, is a co-educational secondary school. It became a Language College in September 1997 and an academy in 2011.

The school adopts the latest teaching pedagogy and staff engage in an internal teaching and learning development programme called “XL” (Leading to Excellent Teaching).  A continual evaluation cycle measures the effectiveness of Campion School’s work and identifies the next steps to be taken to ensure continuous improvement in all areas of teaching and learning.

To ensure that all students in the sixth form are challenged an motivated, the latest equipment for interactive lessons is utilised.
