Fixed term contract to cover Maternity leave

The Gregg is a successful independent school situated to the east of Southampton, with a roll of 320 boys and girls aged 11-16. Small class sizes provide an excellent learning environment, where "pupils make good progress, attain well and consistently achieve well at GCSE." (ISI Inspection February 2011).

The successful candidate will teach Art across the ability range at both KS3 and KS4, and Photography at KS4. Experience of teaching 3D design would be an added advantage.

We place a high value on the benefits of co-curricular activities, and the post holder will be expected to participate in the School's co-curricular programme.

The Gregg School is a mixed, independent, non-denominational, secondary day school, situated in Southampton, Hampshire. The school, which is set in 23 acres of private landscaped grounds, has approximately 320 pupils aged 11-16 on its roll. 

The Gregg School was founded in 1901 and is a member of both the Independent Schools Association and the Independent Schools Council. The Trust and Board of Governors jointly govern the preparatory St Winifred's School and The Gregg School.
