We seek to appoint a well-qualified, effective and enthusiastic specialist in Art from September 2014. In 2013, 70% students in Year 11 gained A*-C grades in GCSE English and Maths. We have gained Ofsted 'Good with Outstanding' in recent inspections, and overall outcomes at GCSE and in the Sixth Form are well above national averages. Art is a very popular subject at the Academy and examination results in this subject area are outstanding. We expect the successful candidate to have the necessary knowledge and skills to teach Art to GCSE and to A-Level. We particularly welcome interest from candidates who can also offer A-Level Photography.
We invite applications from excellent classroom practitioners who can motivate, engage and inspire our students and work collaboratively with colleagues.
