What is a Studio School?

Studio Schools prepare young people aged 14-19 of all abilities with the skills, knowledge and experience they need to succeed in life. They offer a dynamic approach to learning by taking education out of the classroom. Instead students learn in the real world through working in teams on projects designed to reflect real situations and through weekly work placements with businesses from the age of 14. This will help them to develop the employability skills they need to succeed in both life and the workplace.

Overview of the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious candidate who can subscribe to and is enthused by the Studio School model.  We are seeking a passionate classroom practitioner to help make The Bath Studio School a leading example of project based learning pedagogy. The successful candidate will work alongside the Director of Learning to plan, develop and deliver effective and high quality learning experiences for all students.
