The Isle of College f6rm wishes to appoint an inspirational teacher to deliver this subject, across the age and ability range to GCSE / AS / A2 level students, and Applied Science to our BTEC students.

The Isle of Wight College has a national reputation for providing outstanding teaching and learning and has many first class facilities; the new post holder will have an involvement in the development and implementation of the new £6.5 million STEM (Science, Technology Engineering and Maths) Centre of Excellence which is due to open in September 2015.

The Isle of Wight College has been inspected by Ofsted and graded 'Outstanding'; and holds the prestigious Beacon College status for excellence and innovation in education.  We are very proud of this achievement, and continue to offer more courses than any other educational institution on the Isle of Wight, with progression from foundation to degree level.

About The Isle of Wight College

Based in Newport, the Isle of Wight College is a coeducational college for students over the age of 16. It is situated in the Isle of Wight and is a further education establishment. The college first opened in 1951. When it opened it mainly focussed on educating students on engineering. There are approximately more than 8,000 students enrolled at the college.
