Part Time
Salary will be paid on Malvern St James Teachers' pay scale (which is currently 4% above the National Teachers' pay scale)
Required from October 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter 0.26 of a timetable (10 periods) in the first instance, with the possibility of more in future
We require a qualified and creative Teacher of Design and Technology to join this well-resourced department. The successful candidate will teach Food,Textiles, Graphics and Product Design at Key Stage 3.The department offers Food and Product Design at GCSE and A Level; the ability to deliver these subjects is desirable. Applications are welcomed from teachers at any stage of their professional development. Full support is provided for NQTs.
The successful candidate will:
- be committed to high standards
- be a positive classroom practitioner with a determination to deliver innovative teaching and learning
- be able to teach Design and Technology to Key Stages 3 and 4
- be willing to teach at A Level if required
- be keen to contribute to the extra-curricular and pastoral life of the School
