Job overview

Following a restructure, the most beautiful secondary school in the country is seeking a number of key appointments for January 2015 (or earlier if possible).

This is an exciting time to join the school. Having been restructured, all subjects now belong to one of the Directorates, each of which is led by a Director of Learning (VP) who works with the Subject Leaders and staff. A collaborative approach to the development of pedagogy is being encouraged within an exciting curriculum and each Directorate has dedicated administrative support. The school is seeking well qualified, dynamic and positive staff.

Hinchingbrooke is an academically focused school offering a very pleasant working environment, once described by the Daily Telegraph as 'the most beautiful state Secondary School in the country'. It is a larger than average comprehensive school with academy status and has a number of unique features. Full details of all of the posts and information about the school is available from the website www.hinchingbrookeschool.net

We believe in a ‘Warm-Strict’ approach to behaviour. Great behaviour is the best foundation for great learning; this is why we have the Hinchingbrooke Approach to Behaviour.
