Values and vision

UNI Whole Child Drama Academy wants all students to benefit from an enriching and inspiring learning environment, focusing on an education in drama. The school’s motto is: “ Development through Drama,” and it is vital to the school that pupils gain a sense of responsibility, pride and sense of accomplishment for their achievements during their time learning, so that they leave as independent, confident individuals who are fully prepared for life after school. The school wants students to be empathetic towards others and to value everyone as equals, regardless of their differences. Teamwork and leadership skills are promoted and practiced through drama, allowing for pupils to co-operate with others to complete tasks. The school uses drama to help children discover their identity and explore their creative potential, while at the same time enhancing their communication skills, which is considered more important than simply working towards achieving fame through acting. A wide range of additional activities are arranged for students to get involved in during their time learning to further increase their future opportunities, including an English drama camp and opera lessons.
