Required for January 2015 a well-qualified and inspiring teacher of Drama to join an outstanding Faculty in a nationally renowned school.
Hockerill offers a highly distinctive curriculum. The successful applicant will have a flair and passion for the subject and would contribute to the further development of the subject at the College.
Hockerill College has a strong international perspective and teaches Drama to the GCSE (AQA would be an advantage) and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. We offer a host of international exchanges and Duke of Edinburgh expeditions. Experience of the International Baccalaureate would be viewed with interest but is not a prerequisite.
Hockerill is a highly successful college and has high expectations of its students and staff. The College was awarded IB School of the Year in 2011/12 and has topped the state school sixth form league tables for the past three years. It is situated in the town of Bishop's Stortford in the beautiful landscaped grounds of a former teacher training college and is within 30 minutes of both London and Cambridge.
