Values and vision

Inverclyde Academy wants to provide all students with the opportunity to learn and develop skills to set them up for a successful and happy future. The school is committed to enriching the lives of children across the community and works to provide them with a broad and balanced curriculum to engage everyone. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are available for students to get involved in outside of the classroom and expand their skills, confidence and overall learning experience. These range from after school clubs to CV boosting initiatives such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Leadership skills are practiced through an active Student Council where members voice the opinions and concerns of their peers to the rest of the school.  It is vital for the success of Inverclyde Academy that parents play an active and prominent role in their children’s education so that students are supported during  both their school and home life.
