The King's School is a selective co-educational boarding and day school of 820 pupils in years 9-13. The school, dating back to 597 and situated in the heart of the historic Cathedral city of Canterbury in Kent, has an outstanding reputation as one of the country's leading independent schools.

A well-qualified and enthusiastic graduate is sought to teach Economics at all levels, including preparation for top universities. To be successful, you will show a genuine interest in the full Economics curriculum and demonstrate a range of different teaching techniques. There are also many opportunities for involvement in the wider pastoral and co-curricular life of this large boarding school and there is an expectation that teachers will contribute fully.
