Saint Paul's is an expanding 11-16 Voluntary Academy. This is a very exciting time to join as the 2013 examination results improved for the ninth year in succession and were the "best ever" by a considerable margin. We were included in the Top 5 Engineering colleges by the DCSF 2007-2010 and we had a successful Ofsted inspection in 2010. In 2012 we were recognised by the DFE as being in the top 100 schools in the country for improvement..

We are a socially inclusive and equal opportunities school. We welcome students and staff from all cultures, and take positive steps to support students and staff with disabilities. There are over 30 languages spoken by staff and pupils in St Paul's.

We require an enthusiastic, well-qualified, and ambitious Teacher of English, for this full time post within the school. You will join a successful, experienced and committed team who will encourage an innovative and creative approach.

St Paul’s is a mixed, comprehensive, Roman Catholic secondary school situated in Newall Green, Manchester. Operating under the Diocese of Shrewsbury, St Paul’s is part of the multi-academy Wythenshawe Catholic Academy Trust (WCAT), which also supports three local schools at primary level. Slightly smaller than the average secondary school, it will provide 900 places for pupils aged 11-16, when fully subscribed.

The school reopened as an academy in March 2013.
