Driffield School and Sixth Form, based in the East Riding of Yorkshire, is a large and very successful comprehensive school committed to investing in all our staff and encouraging every student to achieve excellence. The English department currently comprises 15 full-time staff, achieves excellent results at KS4 and is a very popular A Level choice for students in the Sixth Form, offering Literature, Language, Media and Film Studies.
We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative teacher to play a full role across the whole KS3, KS4 and KS5 age and ability range. A commitment to academic excellence across the ability range through progressive teaching and learning styles, fully incorporating ICT is required.
The successful candidate will need to be an excellent form tutor, taking responsibility for monitoring the academic and pastoral progress of students within a vertical (Y7-Y11) tutor group.
