We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, dynamic and inspirational teacher to teach English across the age and ability range. An ability to teach Media Studies would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Should you wish to apply for this position you will have a passion for teaching English and be committed to working as part of a team to improve teaching and learning across the faculty.
The position is ideally suited to an enthusiastic and committed teacher who has the drive to work towards becoming outstanding if you have not already reached this standard. We welcome applications from NQTs and experience teachers.
Thornton Grammar School is a popular 11-18 Specialist Sports, Science and Applied Learning Trust School with 1540 students on roll, including 250 in the Sixth Form. Pleasantly situated on the outskirts of Bradford, the school enjoys excellent facilities.
