Ellis Guilford is a large, over-subscribed comprehensive school situated on an 11 acre site, three miles from the centre of Nottingham with excellent transport links to the M1.

We are a thriving and dynamic school which benefits from outstanding facilities.

We are looking for a creative and inspiring teacher who can make a positive contribution to the work of a large and diverse English faculty. Our English GCSE results were above the national average for the first time this year and we want to build on this by recruiting an excellent practitioner who is keen to make a difference in a rapidly improving school.

Encouraging all students to be their best is something that is essential to everybody’s role at Ellis Guilford. To ensure that all new staff are also able to be their best we offer a series of induction sessions that make the transition to working at the school as smooth as possible. We understand that all schools are different and therefore feel it is important to offer this induction process to all new members of staff.
