The Governors seek to appoint a well-qualified, highly motivated teacher of English with the skills and experience required to promote and drive improved literacy across the school. We see this as a key role in further embedding our high levels of attainment at all Key Stages. You will need a passion for literacy and the drive to improve standards for all learners across the school. To do this you will need strong leadership skills, be an excellent classroom practitioner and be dedicated to this role.

St Thomas the Apostle school is a 11-18 Catholic boys’ school with a co-educational Sixth Form in South London. The Catholic tradition plays a huge part in the day-to-day life of St Thomas the Apostle College, with the values of mutual respect and courtesy being expected of students at all levels.
