Rugby High School is an 11-18 girls' grammar school, described by Ofsted in 2006 and in 2008 as "outstanding" and with an "exceptional" Sixth Form. Pupils achieve excellent academic results, enjoy a huge range of extra-curricular activities and win accolades for sport, music, public speaking, work involving business links and environmental issues. There are 825 students on role including 304 in the Sixth Form, reflecting a high stay-on rate and enhanced opportunities for Sixth Form teaching throughout the curriculum.

Rugby High School is seeking to appoint a well-qualified teacher of English to teach throughout this 11-18 girls' school. Experience of teaching A level, especially A Level English Language, is desirable.
