REQUIRED FROM JANUARY 2015 UNTIL JULY 2015

Required from January 2015 a temporary Teacher of English who has experience of delivering Media to join an excellent supportive and well resourced department. We are looking for an outstanding teacher who has the necessary experience to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and contribute to the extracurricular provision within the department. This post is temporary, due to departmental restructuring, with the possibility of it becoming permanent.

Woodchurch High School is an exciting place to work. It is a successful and oversubscribed 11 - 16 co-educational comprehensive.

We enjoy state-of-the-art facilities in our new building, designed to engage and motivate learners. As an Academy committed to professional development, all new teaching staff will be expected to actively participate in CPD programmes.

Woodchurch High School is a very successful, over-subscribed co-educational Church of England Academy.  There are over 1400 pupils on roll, who are supported by 114 teaching staff and  over 120 support staff. The popularity of the school is attributable to a proven record of high standards in all aspects of school life including leadership and management, excellent examination results, a well ordered disciplined environment, excellent relationships within the school, and with parents / carers and the community.

Woodchurch High School is housed in a state of the art building,  which opened 2010. It boasts excellent classroom accommodation as well as being equipped with the very latest ICT equipment.
