Hornsey School for Girls is an innovative, international, large community school.  Our vision is to foster a love of learning and inspire every young woman to raise her expectations and to be ambitious in exceeding her potential.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher of Geography to join our high achieving Geography department with outstanding results and a high profile within the school.  It is an extremely popular choice at GCSE and A Level. The Geography department  offers  many extra curricular learning opportunities, including compulsory residential field trips for exam groups, optional fieldwork in Iceland for KS4 and 5 students, a programme of guest speakers and workshops, and Model UN.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, innovative teacher to develop their skills further within a collaborative department. The department is supportive of continued professional development. We would welcome a candidate with a passion for teaching and learning to join a reflective, supportive and highly motivated team.

This post will involve teaching Geography from Year 7 to Year 13.

NQTs receive a taught NQT programme with additional coaching and support.
