We are seeking to appoint an innovative and passionate full time teacher of Mathematics to support and contribute to the further growth and development of the Faculty. A new, dynamic Head of Faculty has recently been appointed and a further three NQT's recruited into the existing team for September.

We are looking for a person with Mathematics teaching experience who has vision, energy and excellent organisational and inter-personal skills in order to contribute to our overall success of the faculty. The post on offer is for a teacher who can help play a role in promoting the positive ethos of the school.

Contract terms are negotiable, dependent upon applicants' current circumstances and may attract a suitable TLR for the right candidate.

This opportunity has arisen to support the continued improvement in outcomes for students and this is an exciting time to join the school as we continue to develop strategies to improve the quality of learning and teaching within the school.

We are looking for a dynamic and creative individual who can inform and influence the curriculum as we develop 21st Century Learning within the school. Mathematics plays a central part in developing active and practical learning. Students excel in these activities due to the experience they gain through collaboration, problem solving and personal challenge.

This is a unique opportunity to take this department to new heights by building on our current progress. The successful person will have an opportunity to play a key role in our whole school and community initiatives.

Our Lady’s Roman Catholic High School is a mainstream, co-educational secondary school for children aged 11-16. It is situated in Higher Blackley, Manchester, and it has 850 students on its roll.

Pupils’ spelling, punctuation and grammar in writing, and their use of standard English when speaking, have improved significantly since the last inspection. School leaders, including governors, have an accurate understanding of the school’s strengths and areas for development. They are determined to continue improving opportunities for pupils. Senior leaders have taken effective measures to improve levels of literacy. Teachers provide pupils with opportunities to develop their speaking skills and practise their use of standard English.”
