Salary: £21,867-£34,887
This is a 35 hours per week maternity cover post.
Subject to the policies of the school and the education authority, the duties of teachers, promoted and unpromoted, are to perform such tasks as the Headteacher shall direct, having reasonable regard to overall teacher workload related to the main job activities.

Tarbert Academy is a co-educational, non-denominational 3-18 school in Tarbert Loch Fyne, on the western Scottish isle of Bute. The school’s mission is stated as valuing ‘Respect , Achievement, Responsibility, Creativity’. The village of Tarbert has a population of 1,400, and its three castles are reflected in the crest of Tarbert Academy. Extra-curricular activities at the academy include gardening, cycling and choir at primary level, and chess, archery, and drama at secondary level.

This has resulted in raised standards, improved learning and teaching methodologies, and increased attainment and achievement.”
