The Park School is a mainstream, mixed, all-through independent school that caters for three to eighteen year olds. Located in Yeovil, Somerset, it has 170 students enrolled.  

The school was founded in 1851 and became a company limited by guarantee in 1957, with a board of governors who are trustees of the charity. In 1993, boys were admitted to the senior department, and the sixth form was officially opened in 2000. The school promotes Evangelical Christian values but welcomes all denominations and faiths.

The Park School aims to provide a happy, safe environment that supports every student to develop academically, physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually. Teachers provide a wide range of fulfilling extra-curricular and leisure activities to make students well-rounded and help them reach their full potential. 

The school excels at reading, English and ICT. The extra-curricular activities on offer are also very strong. Pupils have won medals in hockey, swimming and cross-country. Students have also won art awards and competitions.

The quality of pupils’ personal, spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is excellent. Pupils of all ages are mature, confident and articulate. Relationships between staff and pupils are excellent and pupils’ spiritual development reflects the school’s Christian ethos in an atmosphere of tolerance and equality.”
