Linlithgow Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in West Lothian, providing places for students from 11-18 years. The secondary school is situated in Linlithgow and has approximately 1,203 students on record.    

Linlithgow Academy was established in 1894 and has been on its current site since 1968.

Linlithgow Academy focuses on providing a secure and happy learning environment to challenge and encourage students through a broad curriculum. The West Lothian secondary school wants to nurture the values of respect, justice and fairness and for students to treat each other as equals, regardless of their differences. Community is at the heart of the school, and teachers work closely with parents and pupils to provide the best learning opportunities. Linlithgow Academy focuses on providing pupils with opportunities outside the classroom and offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities for them to get involved in, ranging from sports to art club.

They are proud of their school and an ethos of respect is evident through their mature attitude to learning and relationships with each other and staff. The school is working successfully to provide a curriculum which aims to meet the needs, interests and aspirations of all young people in Linlithgow Academy”.
