Teaching and developing young people with additional needs requires a special kind of person. You will work with enthusiastic young people and a supportive committed staff team. If you are an excellent Maths Teacher, have a passion to nurture and develop young people with additional needs, have excellent communication skills and have the ability to inspire our students to get them motivated, fascinated and excited about learning and support their development in becoming confident adults, then you should consider Selly Oak Trust School as your next move.

This vacancy will suit an NQT or experienced teacher looking for the challenge of meeting the needs of students with additional needs. Our students learn in a very visual and kinaesthetic way and need a teacher who can adapt their teaching to reflect this and enable them to access the full curriculum with support. If like us, you believe that education is more than just academic achievement and you are prepared to contribute to our strong sense of community, then you will be the right person to prepare our young people for the future, whether you are currently trained as a mainstream primary or special teacher.
