The Manor Academy is looking to appoint a positive, talented, committed, enthusiastic, innovative and inspiring Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our team of forward thinking teachers within a student-focused and dynamic Academy. We are looking for a linguist who can offer two of the following languages: French, German, Spanish and Mandarin.

The successful applicant will join diligent and committed colleagues who are open-minded, keen to trial new teaching techniques and work in a sharing and supportive environment. The post is ideal for someone with drive, energy and a genuine love for teaching and learning.

We are committed to the professional development of all colleagues and support this with weekly CPD and collaborative planning time for all staff, ensuring they have the opportunity to experience high quality, personalised training and support.

It is an exciting time to join The Manor Academy as we strive to be the best we can be and embark upon a new and innovative curriculum for the 21st Century. From September 2013, our curriculum was organised into 4 strands, in one of these strands, MFL joined with Humanities to allow greater timetable flexibility, personalised pathways for students based upon our philosophy of a stage not age curriculum, where students work in vertical groups and sit examinations when they are ready.

The Academy also provides all staff with access to the Worklife Support service which offers free advice, support and guidance on a range of issues.

The Manor Academy is situated within the heart of the Mansfield Woodhouse community. The academy educates children from the ages of 11 to 18, we are proud to educate 1,245 students and be a member of The Two Counties Trust.
