About The Mandeville School
We are a school of just the right size; large enough to be able to offer a wide range of different opportunities and facilities, yet small enough to know each of our students well.
Located on a large, green and well-maintained site, we serve young people and their families in the West of Aylesbury and nearby villages in the Aylesbury Vale.
OUR VISION
To be a kind community where everyone perseveres, achieves and flourishes; where we enable all to experience life to the full.
OUR VALUES
At all times life in our school is underpinned by our school values of Perseverance, Kindness, Integrity and Community.
Perseverance
We keep going when times are tough, we support each other and are hopeful about the future.
Kindness
We show care, understanding, tolerance, friendliness and courtesy towards other people.
Integrity
We take responsibility for our actions, think for ourselves, are honest, and take pride in all that we do.
Community
We value everyone, respect each other, act for each other, and care for our environment.
We are a school that is on a rapid journey of improvement, unprecedented in the school's 60-year history. We are a school students and parents increasingly see as the best choice for their education, heavily subscribed in Years 7, 8 and 9 and with increasing numbers staying on until Year 13.
We work in partnership with a range of organisations in order to provide the best for our students and are supported in our aims by working closely with Buckinghamshire Council and other schools in the Aylesbury Vale.
Headteacher
Mr Matthew Larminie
Ofsted Report
The approaches recently introduced are taking the school in the right direction. [School leaders] are more rigorous than previously and determined to improve the school. This resolve is now having a positive impact on most pupils’ daily experiences.
