We are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher with strong leadership potential to join our team of enthusiastic and supportive teachers and senior leaders.

Plaistow is a large inner city school with a strong commitment to inclusive practice. Graded outstanding by OFSTED in July 2014 we have great children who are eager to learn, a committed staff team with supportive Governors and Parents. Opened in 2002 the school is well resourced and offers a vibrant and friendly learning environment.

You will have proven teaching experience and have your sights set on leadership. You will be someone who has an uncompromising passion for teaching, who is relentless in securing the academic achievement and emotional well-being of every child and who believe you can make an outstanding contribution to ensuring the best start for all of our pupils.

As part of this post you will predominantly teach Music across the school as part of class teachers PPA. You will be a member of the middle leadership team and be responsible for the strategic leadership of Music across the school. You will receive guaranteed management time. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to teach an English or Mathematics lesson prior to formal interview.
