Based at Royal Holloway, University of London, the ISC delivers foundation programmes preparing international students for progression to undergraduate degrees. Working in partnership with Royal Holloway, we are seeking a well-qualified and experienced academic subject teacher for music theory.

The course will appropriately prepare overseas students to progress to degrees in the Music department and there will be an element of course and materials development throughout the year. Students will be focused on improving their music theory from a grade 5 equivalent to the required standard for entry to UG study.

Applicants must hold a subject qualification and the relevant teaching qualification. Candidates must have experience of teaching in a further education environment and of teaching in an international context. Experience of Foundation Programmes is highly desirable and good organisational and IT skills are essential.

Please note: the ISC operates a four term teaching year.
