We are seeking to appoint an excellent Physics Teacher to take responsibility for the teaching of Physics at all Key Stages.  Our environment and facilities are excellent with a suite of Science Labs, plus Departmental ICT facilities, lecture hall facilities and Teaching School opportunities. Evidence of outstanding outcomes in Exam results at KS4 and 5 is required.  A Lead Practitioner point is available for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate.

St Thomas More Catholic Secondary School is a successful, oversubscribed 11-18 Catholic school, which is part of the Bedford group of Our Lady Immaculate Catholic Academies Trust (OLICAT) schools. Other schools in the Bedford group are St John Rigby Primary School and St Joseph’s & St Gregory's Primary School. St Thomas More is a specialist school in humanities and leadership and also a teaching school. Our last Ofsted inspection, in January 2011, judged St Thomas More to be an outstanding school.
