Job overview

A well-qualified Teacher of Physics is required for either January 2015 or September 2015. The Physics department is highly successful at all levels within an exceptionally strong Science department. Applications from new entrants to the profession or from more experienced teachers are equally welcome. Statutory induction will be provided for NQTs. The School's long standing record of high achievement (92% A* to B at A Level in 2014) is reflected in the Physics Department's recent results.

The School occupies fine, modern buildings near St. Paul's Cathedral overlooking the Thames, opposite the Tate Modern.

The school site is situated by the Thames. It has over 20 acres of sports pitches. It was established in 1834 and moved to its present site in 1986. The school is governed by a board and by the City of London Corporation, which appoints its governors.
