Swakeleys is a thriving and successful, multi-cultural school for girls in the London Borough of Hillingdon, with our own mixed 6th Form. We are over-subscribed, have an excellent climate for learning and in 2013 we achieved 99% 5 A*-C at GCSE, with 75% including English and Maths. We had 100% pass at A-Level with 58% A*/B grades. We have been recognised by the DFE as one of the top 56 high performing schools in the country.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join our highly successful Department and to work within a strong, supportive and friendly team. Sociology is taught at KS4 and KS5 and Psychology at KS5.
Results are excellent. At A level - 2013, 85% achieved A*-C in Psychology (100% pass) and 93% achieved A*-C at Sociology (100% pass).
This post would be ideal for either an experienced practitioner or an NQT for whom an extensive programme of induction and support is available.
