We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, dynamic and inspirational teacher of Science.
Halewood Academy is successful 11-19 School of 1011 students. It was judged by OFSTED to be good with outstanding features in October 2010.
We are keen to receive applications from a Physics specialist who would be able to teach Physics up to A level. However, applications from an outstanding teacher of Biology or Chemistry are also welcome.
This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified or an experienced teacher. All our NQT's and new staff are well supported by an excellent induction programme.
The successful applicant will be an outstanding teacher joining a strong and supportive science department which delivers science to GCSE and A level.

Halewood Academy is a co-educational, non-denominational, non-selective secondary school for children aged 11-16. It is situated in Knowsley, Merseyside, and has 1080 pupils on its roll. Halewood Academy joined the Wade Deacon Trust in February 2017.
