An opportunity to join the staff of a highly successful and heavily oversubscribed, mixed 11-18 Church of England Secondary School in the London Borough of Wandsworth and the Diocese of Southwark. There are 950 pupils on roll including 200 in the Sixth Form
The Governing Body wishes to appoint a Teacher of Science to this highly successful 11-18, Voluntary Aided Church of England Secondary School which, in addition to teaching the full National Curriculum, specialises in the teaching of Music and Mathematics. The successful applicant will be an outstanding classroom teacher, joining a strong department which delivers Science to GCSE and A-Level. In 2013 GCSE pupils achieved 71.7% A* - C in Science. A-Level results were 77% A* - C in Biology, 79% A* - C in Chemistry and 70% A* - C in Physics.
Whilst candidates must be in sympathy with the aims of a voluntary-aided Church of England school, a Christian commitment, though highly desirable and therefore advantageous, is not essential for this post.

Saint Cecilia’s Church of England School is a co-educational comprehensive school for pupils aged 11–18 years specialising in the teaching of Music and Mathematics.
