Small Heath School is a highly successful split site, inner city school. We were recently judged to be outstanding by OFSTED for the fourth consecutive time.

An enthusiastic and inspirational teacher is required to join a large and experienced Science Team. A Biologist or Physicist is preferred, however Science Teachers of other specialisms are very welcome to apply as we believe that potentially outstanding ability to teach is more important than specialism. The post is also suitable for a highly motivated NQT who is able to cope with the demands of working in a very dynamic and progressive team.

Small Heath School and Sixth Form Centre is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in Birmingham. It educates students within the 11-18 age range. In February 2017, the school began the process of converting to academy status, under the sponsorship of the Tauheedul Education Trust.

Small Heath School and Sixth Form Centre was originally built as a Birmingham board school in 1982. In 1994, the school became a specialist technology college and has since been recognised as a High Performing Specialist School. Small Heath supports a school in Pakistan and works with other schools and school leaders in England.
