Do you have the drive, ambition and determination to secure outstanding outcomes for our students?

Do you want to work in a vibrant, forward-thinking and aspirational academy that places learning at the heart of everything it does?

Due to the planned expansion of our academy, we are seeking to appoint a new Science specialist.

This is an exciting time for the school in its development, having joined the SPTA as an academy, and just having moved into our new building. In Key Stage 4, students have the opportunity to study Separate Sciences, in addition to Core and Additional. We therefore require an ambitious, determined and committed individual to secure positive outcomes for our students.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an excellent practitioner
  • Have the knowledge and experience, or ambition to support the subject leader
  • Have the ability to teach across the whole range of age and ability in KS3 & KS4
  • Be flexible and willing to teach outside of their subject specialism where necessary
  • Be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards of student progress, personal development and well-being are achieved

This post would suit a new or experienced teacher, who is an excellent classroom practitioner, looking for an opportunity to develop their career in a forward thinking and ambitious academy and department.

We look forward to you joining our dedicated and supportive team.
