Job overview
Two temporary teachers of Science are required to join the successful and dynamic Science Department at Bradfield Secondary School.
Post a. is required from January 2015 to cover a maternity leave. The ability to teach at least one Separate Science subject to GCSE is essential. The expected duration of this contract is until December 2015.
Post b. is required from December 2014 to cover a maternity leave. The ability to teach at least one Separate Science subject to GCSE is essential. The ability to offer Chemistry to A level would be an advantage. The expected duration of this contract is until July 2015.
The successful candidates will be required to complete a Criminal Records Disclosure form in line with Section 115 of the Police Act 1997.

Bradfield is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in Worrall, Sheffield. It is supported by the single-academy Bradfield School Trust. An average-sized secondary, it will provide 1,250 places for secondary and sixth-form students aged 11-19, when fully subscribed.
The school gained academy status in December 2012 and opened its sixth-form in September 2013.

Bradfield is a specialist science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) school.
