We are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to join a large, ambitious and highly successful Science department at this "Outstanding" school. You will be a key player in the department and will work with a highly committed team of professionals who are determined to develop the teaching of Science for all abilities.You will have an innovative approach to learning and be driven to produce dynamic Science lessons across all Key Stages. In Key Stage 3 students are taught Biology, Chemistry and Physics with the exciting introduction of IMYC in September 2015. In Key Stage 4 we offer GCSEs in Core and Additional Science as well as the separate sciences as an option and Key Stage 5 students have the opportunity to study A Levels or BTEC L3. You must have qualities to help the Science team in successfully delivering an exciting curriculum which is inclusive to all students and makes good use of new technologies. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with energy and vision that would like to work in a very successful school.
