The Milton Keynes Academy (MKA) is an academy with a growing reputation and strong community and business links. Our academy is underpinned by a nurturing ethos based on our core values of inclusivity and compassion to help us achieve our mission of "Everyone Achieves."

You will be joining The Milton Keynes Academy at a very exciting time on our journey to become an Outstanding school.

The Academy caters for 1300 students aged 11-19. Our aim is to maximise the potential of all our students, become a centre of excellence for Business and Enterprise learning and be at the heart of our community.

We seek to recruit top practitioners to create a formidable staff team capable of delivering the high standards the students deserve and are looking for an enthusiastic, high calibre Teacher to deliver the highest quality teaching and learning and contribute to our continuing development to the next stage of our transformation.

We have superb facilities so that students can benefit from well-equipped, specially designed areas for all subjects. There are six science laboratories and every student is able to study separate science subjects.

The successful candidate will engage, challenge, motivate and maximise the potential of all of our students. The hours of work during term time are from 8:15am to 4:45pm Monday to Thursday inclusive and 8:15am to 3:30pm on Friday, with 40 minutes lunch break each day and a morning break of 20 minutes.

The Milton Keynes Academy is a co-educational, non-selective secondary school for students aged 11-18. We are a member of the Creative Education Trust, a charity and multi-academy trust with a network of non-selective primary and secondary state schools. Together, we work to empower young people with the knowledge, skills and creativity they need to succeed in school and in life.
