About Ludlow College
Located in the market town of Ludlow, Shropshire, Ludlow College is a co-educational sixth form college with around 1100 students. The college can trace its history back over 800 years, to the foundation of a boys’ school, although Ludlow College in its current guise was formed in 1977. Ludlow College later merged with Herefordshire College, although both retain their own identities and separate student bodies. Ludlow College runs across three campuses in Ludlow, comprised of a mix of modern new-build facilities and much older, medieval architecture.

Values and Vision
Ludlow College is primarily focused on the education of 16-19-year-old school-leavers, and as such provides a wide range of A-level and BTEC subjects for them to choose from, including some more unusual courses not directly related to GCSE. In addition to these, a small number of GCSE courses are also run for students looking to improve on their grade from Key Stage 4, and the college's close relationship to local business and industry allows it to offer a number of options for apprenticeship.

Students work productively in lessons and demonstrate maturity and dedication to learning. Students have a very clear understanding of their teachers’ expectation of good attendance and punctuality. Students appreciate the importance of good attendance in supporting the development of employability skills.”
